Hypertable is an open source project based on published best practices and our own experience in solving large-scale data-intensive tasks. Our goal is to bring the benefits of new levels of both performance and scale to many data-driven businesses who are currently limited by previous-generation platforms. Our goal is nothing less than that Hypertable become the world’s most massively parallel high performance database platform. Hypertable是一个基于最佳实践的开源项目，包含了我们解决大型数据集中任务的扩展经验。我们的目标将集性能和扩展优势的应用到那些目前受限但需要数据驱动的商业中。我们的目标是让hypertable成为最受欢迎的并行高性能数据平台。 ps：parallel是并行，不是并发。 j.L: 看了下其架构实现，大概还是基于google的paper。从其他doc来看，它还在测试阶段。 其成员似乎有华人，所以关注下。
